From qualification to arrival

Review invitation
Selected units receive an official notice with registration access, roster requirements, lodging guidance, required forms and submission deadlines.

Register
Complete the team entry with the final cadet roster. Secure lodging and verify that every participant’s signed permission and release forms have been submitted.

Report ready
Arrive with all registered cadets, equipment, and required release forms. The coach must complete team check-in before they will be cleared for practice or competition.
Qualification
Meet the standard
National rankings are determined by each unit’s verified qualifying results. Coaches are responsible for reviewing every requirement, confirming that team scores and roster information are accurate, and resolving any discrepancies before the national field is finalized.

JROTC Archery has secured government per diem rates at participating hotels. Brigades and schools must complete reservations by March 17, 2027, with no fewer than two cadets assigned to each room. Competition-day shuttle service between partner hotels and Bennett Event Center is under development; confirmed routes and schedules will be released when available.

Provided meals and dietary needs
Fuel for competition
Brigades are responsible for all meals on April 15, the designated arrival day. Hotels are expected to serve breakfast on April 16 and 17. Registered teams will receive lunch on both competition days and dinner on April 17. Units must arrange dinner on April 16, snacks and any remaining meals. Coaches should address dietary restrictions in advance and maintain reliable access to water throughout travel, practice and competition.

Approved gear backups and repairs
Prepare competition equipment
Each unit must arrive with a complete competition setup: Genesis Original bows, Easton 1820 arrows, clearly labeled backups, protective cases and basic repair supplies. Coaches should inspect all equipment before departure, verify compliance with event requirements and bring enough serviceable arrows for practice and scored rounds. No team equipment will be issued on site; units are responsible for maintenance and replacement.

Cadet and coach requirements
Complete the check in packet
Every cadet must arrive with a completed Media Consent and Release Waiver, Cadet Data Sheet and Hold Harmless Waiver. Each coach must also sign the Code of Conduct. Before departure, coaches should verify that every form is complete, organize the documents by cadet and bring the full team packet to check-in.

Know before you go
What is the qualification deadline?
February 28. Verify the official team score and roster in ArrowScores.
Where is the venue located?
Bennett Event Center, 3101 Gordon Cooper Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73107.
Are meals included?
Hotels provide breakfast April 16-17. JROTC Archery provides lunch April 16-17 and dinner April 17.
Is equipment provided?
No. Teams must bring all competition and backup equipment.
When will selected teams receive their invitations?
March 5. Registration opens March 8, and final rosters are due April 7.
How does tiered registration work?
Your highest official qualifying score sets your registration tier. Tier 1, 1600-1800, opens March 8. Tier 2, 1500-1599, opens March 9. Tier 3, 1440-1499, opens March 10.
Is overnight lodging provided?
No. Teams must reserve participating hotels by March 17 and assign at least two cadets per room.
What paperwork is required?
Cadets need three required waivers and data forms. Coaches need a signed Code of Conduct.
How many qualifying tournaments may a team enter?
Teams may enter multiple recognized qualifiers. Only the highest official team score is used in the national ranking.
